Yes, Fernando Gago finally landed on Real Madrid. After Boca Juniors President Mauricio Macri arrived at Madrid and saying that he wants over €20 million (£13 million) for the highly rated Fernando Gago midfielder. Fernando Gago finally signed for Real Madrid on Friday after successfully passing a medical exam.

“Gago is the best midfilelder in the world and he should be plays for the best club in the world too,” said Madrid president Ramon Calderon at the official presentation of the 20-year-old at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Fernando Gago will join Madrid from Boca Juniors until 2013 with cost 20 million Euros , the exactly amount that wanted by Boca President Mauricio Macri.

Barcelona’s defender Lilian Thuram will be out of action for six weeks. Thuram tearing a muscle in his left leg on the Barcelona versus Atletico Madrid game at Spanish Primera Liga. The games it self end with 1-1 draw results. Lilian Thuram is expected to be back in action at the beginning of February 2007.

Bayern Munich Ready to Sign Jens Lehmann From Arsenal

Bayern Munich reportedly ready to sign Arsenal Goal Keeper Jens Lehmann when his contract with the Gunners expires at the end of this season. Lehmann has already told Arsenal that he wants a two-year-deal for his new contracts, buat Arsenal only offer him one-year contracts as the regulation of the club for players over 30 years old. Lehmann is 37 years old this year. Bayern are reportedly considering Lehmann as the replacement for his great rival at international level, Oliver Kahn.

Under the Bosman ruling, Lehmann will be free to talk to Bayern about a possible transfer from January 1st, although he may opt to wait until he has heard what Arsenal are prepared to offer him.
