AC Parma For Sale !!!

The Italia Seria A Club AC Parma is putting itself up for public sale and they really hopes to find a buyer by the end of the month. Parma board member Roberto Cappelli was quoted as saying the price would be “considerably below the 27.5 million euros requested in the past.” In August 2005, Parma announced it had accepted a buyout proposal from a Spanish company run by former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz. That deal fell through.
Parma has struggled financially since its owner, the dairy company Parmalat, had its own problems and defaulted on more than 14 billion euros (C$22 billion) of debt at the end of 2003.
This season in Seria A Parma is 19th in the 20-team Italian Seria A Club with 12 points from 18 games.
