Aston Villa To Sign Glasgow Celtic Goalkeeper Artur Boruc

English Premiership club Aston Villa reported their interest to sign Artur Boruc, goalkeeper of Scottish Premier League club Glasgow Celtic. Boruc reported has receive an invitation to visit Villa Park and watch the team play. If Boruc decided to move to Aston Villa then he will follow two others former Celtic player who move to Villa Stiliyan Petrov and Shaun Maloney and Martin O’Neill the former Celtic coach.

Boruc contract in Celtic would be end until 2009 and could cost over £4million for Villa to sign the players. Boruc previously also linked with Bayern Munich, as a replacement of current Bayern goalkeeper Oliver Kahn.

Artur Boruc moved to Celtic on July 12, 2005 he signed with Celtic from the Polish club Legia Warszawa. On November 21, 2006, in a Champions League match against Manchester United at Celtic Park, Boruc helped Celtic through to the knockout stage of the competition by saving Louis Saha’s 89th-minute penalty.

Boruc was named player of the month for December 2006 in the Scottish Premier League.

    there’s no way that they’ll sign Boruc. AVFC will never shell out enough money, and Boruc is valued at 10 million pounds
