Australia : “We Can Win AFC Asian Cup 2007″

AFC Asian Cup Final Draw Result in Kuala Lumpur brought the excitement for Australian Soccer Fans. The Socceroos will be in Group A with Thailand (host), Oman and Iraq. Australia will make their debuts against Oman on July 8 in Bangkok. Many people believe that Australia should be able to qualify for the last eight from a group that also features Asian Games runners-up Iraq and one of the four co-hosts, Thailand.
The Socceroos’ success at the World Cup, in reaching the second round and running winners Italy ragged, has sharpened the appetite of soccer fans for some more competitive action. Graham Arnold’s, The Australian Coach, also very happy with this draw result and they have a serious chance of winning the cup.
Sixteen national teams will play in the July 7-29 tournament in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. The final will be hosted by Indonesia.
