Behind The Scene : Coleen McLoughlin 21st Birthday Party
Coleen McLoughlin, a fiancee of Manchester United soccerstar Wayne Rooney, has celebrate her 21st Birthday Party yesterday at Thornton Manor, in the Wirral, Merseyside. But hey dont you know that, the £500,000 party actually is not like Coleen dreaming for. Just hours before the party begin, she is very angry to the event organisers after A-list celebs snubbed on her lavish circus-themed celebrations.
Coleen expected among her almost 300 guests entertained by acrobats and trapeze artists in a big-top style marquee, but so many A-listers turned down her invitation and made her to push the event organisers to make last-minute phone calls to find other big names.
“She was very disappointed and embarrassed when the guest list was nothing like she was hoping for” a source close to Coleen said.
Take That, Westlife, Sugababes and Atomic Kitten turned down the chance to entertain guests. Cheryl and Ashley Cole also politely said they couldn’t make it. Posh and Becks previouslu said that they would be no-shows. Chelsea star Frank Lampard and his stunning Spanish fiancee Elen Rives were also busy.
Coleen also complain to the hotel manager because she thought hotel bosses were giving more attention to a wedding couple where also on the same place with Coleen birthday party that night. Coleen want the hotel manager to given her full red carpet for her guest. “Coleen thought that as she was spending so much money she should have been given full red-carpet treatment.”
But the hotel manager said that the wedding had been booked far longer than her party and the hotel managers were not going to let Coleen’s party overshadow a couple’s special day planned for years.”
Another problem on Coleen birthday party is when party organisers wanted an area set aside for guests to arrive by helicopter - and the hotel said no. “The hotel said they were not going to have the peace shattered.”
Michael and Louise Owen, Alex Curran and fiance Steven Gerrard, Ryan Giggs and partner Stacey Cooke reported come to the Coleen McLoughlin 21st Birthday Party that night. Well anyway happy birthday Coleen, with all that problem I think that you’re still a lucky girl, as long as Rooney still on your side.
