BREAKING NEWS : David Beckham Landed to Los Angeles Galaxy

The English Soccer Stars David Beckham finally made his decision to landed in Major League Soccer Club Los Angeles Galaxy next season, after five seasons with Spanish Premier League team, Real Madrid.
The deal is reportedly worth $250 million, which would be one of the largest player contract in global sports history.
“After considering several options to stay in Madrid or join other major British and European teams, I have decided to join LA Galaxy,” Beckham said in a statement obtained by BBC on Thursday.
Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas talked about the team’s interest in signing a player like Beckham, whose star power is exactly what United States soccer is desperate for.
“All of this leads to this race to become the first MLS super club, if you will,” Lalas told BBC. “It is something we aspire to and in order to do that you have to have quality players, a direction and a passion, a good coach and you have to get credibility domestically and internationally.
“Signing players of Beckham’s stature would be a wonderful step in the right direction not just for the Galaxy but for soccer in America.”
Beckham becomes the first MLS player acquired via the League’s new Designated Player Rule which allows the signing of players whose salary falls outside the team salary budget.
The midfielder is expected to make his Galaxy debut in August. The Galaxy, two-time MLS Cup Champions in 2002 and in 2005, open their 2007 campaign April 8 at the Houston Dynamo.
