Bundesliga Winter Break, Werder Bremen at Top of The League Table

Werder Bremen finished the first round of The bundesliga and go into winter break with standing at the top of the league table. This position taken after they beat VfL Wolfsburg 2-1. Werder Bremen, having scored 47 goals so far this season, are top on goal difference ahead of Schalke 04 - both sides are level on 36 points. Reigning champions Bayern Munich are three points behind in third place.
