CAF Announced 2006 African Player of the Year Award Nominees
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the nominees for 2006 African Player of The Year Award. The nominees are Ghana midfielder Michael Essien, Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba and Cameroon striker Samuel Eto’o. Eto’o has already won the award on three occasions.
The CAF Awards ceremony it self will be held in Accra, Ghana during March 2007.
