Arsene Wenger The New Barcelona Coach

After losing Spanish Primera Liga title, Spanish giant Barcelona reported to replace Frank Rijkaard with other coach. There was speculation that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be the number 1 target of Barcelona, this rumours come after France media reported that Arsene Wenger met with Barca director Feran Soriano in Paris.

Arsene Wenger still have one year remaining contract deal with Arsenal, but the lack of transfer funds and the loss of his close ally David Dein, who quit the Emirates last April might be make Wenger to finish his contract one year earlier.

Arsenal To Sign Auxerre Right-Back Bakari Sagna

English Premiership Club Arsenal reported to sign 24-year-old Auxerre right-back Bakari Sagna. Arsenal ready to bring Sagna to Emirates Stadium with a £6million cost. Auxerre’s vice-president Gerard Bourgoin admitted that Auxerre has received several offer for Sagna but he think that the offer is too low. “The offers we received are far too low for a player of his level. He is now one of the best French right-backs around and has improved a lot during each of the last three seasons,” Bourgoin said.

Sagna has played for the French under-21 team during the 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. Bakari Sagna received his first call-up for the senior France National Team on May 24, 2007 for the Euro 2008 Qualifiers against Ukraine and Georgia.

Other Premiership club Newcastle United also previously linked with Sagna.

English Premiership Club Arsenal reported to sign Alberto Zapater from Spanish Primera Liga club Real Zaragoza. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to bring out Zapater to The Emirates Stadium for £7 million cost.

Alberto Zapater is spanish soccer player. He has strong tackling and the amount of fouls he has committed earned him the nickname of ‘The Bull’, given to him by Argentine football legend Diego Maradona. Other premiership club Liverpool also linked with him last year.

Arsenal To Sign Ajax Striker Ryan Babel

English Premiership Club Arsenal reported to make £6 million bid for Ryan Babel, the striker of Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger seems to prepare Babel, 20-year-old, as the replacement of Thierry Henry in the future. Babel is considered to be one of the greatest talents of the Netherlands, with Marco van Basten praising Babel as the next Thierry Henry.

Babel already played 11 career games for the Dutch national team, scoring three times.[1] He made his international debut on March 26, 2005. Babel was also a member of the team that played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
