Spanish Primera Liga club Real Betis reported to sign Bayern München Striker Roque Santa Cruz. This info comes after Cruz admitted to media that he’s in talks with Real Betis. “Betis absolutely wants me, they’re putting on a lot of pressure. If Bayern want to go for different attackers and give me a chance to leave, it would appeal a lot to me to play for Betis.” said Cruz to media.
Roque, Paraguayan international striker, signed for Bayern Munich in the second half of 1999. Santa Cruz has been unexceptional at Bayern Munich - although he scored five goals in his first season with the club, a series of injuries and heavy competition at forward for the German giants has limited his impact.

Italian and Fiorentina striker transfer saga surrounding still continues. Germany Bundesliga club Bayern München reported by Gazzetta dello Sport have offered Fiorentina 18 million Euros for Luca Toni with 5.5 million Euro salary under the alleged new agreement.
Luca Toni has been linked with Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus, previously Luca Toni agent Enzo Bronzetti confirmed that Toni will join Inter Milan next season but Bayern 18 million euros bid seems to make that Luca Toni got his eye on a foreign affair.
Bayern München are expected Luca Toni as the replacement of the possible departure of South American duo Pizarro and Santa Cruz next season.

Bayern München, Inter Milan and Juventus reported on the race to sign Fiorentina striker Luca Toni. Juventus reported ready with £70 million in their pocket for Toni transfer. However Toni already said that he wants to play Champions League football next season. So on that point Inter Milan and Bayern München could be one step ahead of Juve.

Bayern München confirms that their current coach Ottmar Hitzfeld will stay at the club next season, after Hitzfeld signed a one-year extension to his contract. “Ottmar has totally convinced all of us with his work over the past few weeks, His decision to extend his contract with us means we can plan for next season with him.” said München general manager Uli Hoeness.
