Spanish Primera Liga club Real Madrid reported close to sign Chelsea and Dutch midfielder Arjen Robben. “We are in talks with Chelsea and the player. They are at an early stage but we hope to sign him. Bringing Robben was one of my pledges when I was running for president and still remains the case”, said Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon.
Arjen Robben move to Chelsea from Dutch Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven in 2004 for transfer fee €18 million (£ 12.1 million).

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reported by The Sun to coach London club Crystal Place if he left the Blues manager position. Mourinho said so because he loves London so much. “London is perfect, my family is happy living here, It is the kind of city where you smell football in every corner. If I’am not working at Chelsea, then Crystal Palace or somebody else will be ok for me”, Mourinho said at the launch of the London 2012 Olympic logo.

English Premiership club Chelsea reported to sign Brazilian winger Daniel Alves, 25-year-old who currently plays for Spanish Primera Liga club Sevilla. Chelsea academy director Frank Arnesen already met Daniel Alves agent at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane last Friday. The Sun reported that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho plan to offering Paolo Ferreira or Khalid Boulahrouz in exchange otherwise Chelsea have to pay at least £12million to sign Alves.
Alves join Sevilla in December 2006, his contract with Sevilla will expire in 2012. Alves also alreadyearned his cap with Brazil national team. He made his debute in Brazilian squad as a substitute in a friendly against Ecuador on October 10, 2006, three days after he made his debut as a starter for Brazil in a friendly match against a Kuwait club, Al-Kuwait.
Liverpool and Real Madrid also previously linked with Daniel Alves.

Portugal manager Luiz Felipe Scolari admitted that English Premiership club Chelsea has been asked him to replace Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge. “It’s flattering to know a club like Chelsea is interested”, said Scolari Scolari’s spokesman Acaz Fellegger. The Sun reported that the approach from Chelsea side for Scolari took place in the last three weeks.
Well if this rumours is true, Mourinho, who has been told he will be in charge next season, could be lose his job in Chelsea this summer.
Scolari side have no respons for the offers. “Felipe has a contract, he is committed to his job with Portugal and he wants to take them to Euro 2008, at the moment, that is the situation” Acaz Fellegger added.
