Claudine Palmer, wife of Liverpool new soccerstar Robbie Keane has told her close pals that she’s delighted to move to Liverpool following Keane transfer from Tottenham Hotspurs to Liverpool recently. “Claudine and Keane have just got married and this move will be a fresh start for their new life as a married couple,” Claudine pals said.
Robbie, who signed to Liverpool for £20m on Monday, is currently staying at The Malmaison hotel but it won’t be long before the couple are house-hunting in the area. Liverpool manager Benitez already spend over £50m this season to bring Robbie Keane, Andrea Dossena, Diego Cavalieri, David Ngog and Philipp Degen. But it seems that Liverpool will release Midfielders Jermaine Pennant, Yossi Benayoun and Xabi Alonso to balance the club finance position.

Scottish Premier League club Glasgow Rangers reported to sign Liverpool and England soccerstar Robbie Fowler on free transfer. Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez confirmed on May 11th 2007 that Fowler would be leaving at the end of the 2006-07 season.
“Robbie doesn’t need three or four chances to score. If he gets one, he pops it away because he has a fantastic array of finishing. He can dink it, he’s good in the air and has a powerful left peg. He’s a clever finisher and it would be a big plus for Rangers if they signed him” said Rangers player Gary McAllister.
Fowler’s career began with Liverpool, with whom he made his debut in 1993. Fowler scored 120 premiership goals for Liverpool in an eight year period. He subsequently played for Leeds United and Manchester City F.C., before returning to Liverpool in January 2006.
