Chelsea and England captain John Terry admitted that he has ambitions of becoming a future manager of England. He told the Daily Star: “I’m sure there isn’t a man in England who wouldn’t want to be England manager. Picking the team would be great and winning the World Cup unbelievable.”

Fabio Capello, the Real Madrid manager, told to FourFourTwo magazine that he was almost managed England National Team and Manchester United in the past. “I was very close to England. I was asked some time ago, before they chose Eriksson, to go for the England job.” He doesn’t know why he was not short-listed.
Capello also said that he almost managed Manchester United when Sir Alex Ferguson announced that he would be leaving Old Trafford six years ago. The Italian coach confirms that he was approached about the impendig vacancy, but then Ferguson decided to stay on.
“Manchester United made contact to me, but the contract is not going through” he tells the magazine.
