U.S. Soccer and Nike, a major American supplier of sports equipment, has released The New US Soccer Third Jersey in royal blue with white pin-stripes and also features royal blue shorts and socks. US Soccer plans to wear the impressive new uniform on Sunday match against Ecuador in Tampa, Fla., and on March 28 against Guatemala in Frisco, Texas.

Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard awarded MBE (Member Of British Empire) by The Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace. Gerrard honoured for leading Liverpool’s fightback in the sensational 2005 Champions League final, when they came back from 3-0 down against AC Milan to eventually win on penalties.

Chelsea and England captain John Terry admitted that he has ambitions of becoming a future manager of England. He told the Daily Star: “I’m sure there isn’t a man in England who wouldn’t want to be England manager. Picking the team would be great and winning the World Cup unbelievable.”

Australian meida reported that former Germany coach on World Cup 2006, Jurgen Klinsmann, could be Asutralian coach for World Cup 2010. This speculation after Klinsmann caught enjoyed a Los Angeles lunch last week with Peter Lowy son of Football Federation Australia (FFA) chairman Frank.
“Real estate was one subject they discussed but coaching opportunities with Australia were definitely tossed around,” said a witness at the restaurant.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) prefer to refuse that issue, but a staff on the federation said Klinsmann is a good choice for Australian team as Klinsmann known to prefer the challenge of taking a national team to a major competition than the soccer club.
Klinsmann previously a favourite to take over the US national team last year before the job was given to Bill Bradley.
