After defeated Denmark 3-1, Interim U.S. coach Bob Bradley prepare his team for the match against rival Mexico Feb. 7 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Twenty-six MLS players will spend the next two weeks training at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
“We are excited to get back to work and continue the progress we have made since the beginning of January,” said Bradley. “All the little things that surround a USA-Mexico game - whether it is great crowds, intense competition, or media attention - can only benefit our players as they continue to gain experience at this level. We are also looking forward to adding more of our European-based players into the mix for the first time this year.”

English Premiership Club Chelsea admitted they interest to Standard Liege and USA national team defender Oguchi Onyewu. Two million pounds is being speculated for the prospective January transfer. “There is truth in regard to Chelsea (wanting Onyewu),†his agent Will Sherling said.
Onyewu previously reject the offer from Spanish Giant Club Real Madrid because he is not in the regular list of player.
“When Madrid made a bid for him, it was not necessarily with him coming as a first-choice defender,†Sherling said. “I don’t know if that’s the case with Chelsea. The best club for him is one that will develop his profile as a player. He doesn’t need to get tangled up in which club is bigger than the next.â€

After Bob Bradley becomes a Head Coach of US Soccer Team, Peter Nowak will leave DC United to join Bradley as an assistant. This could be reunited for both of them, Bradley was Nowak’s head coach for the Chicago Fire where the two combined to win MLS Cup in 1998.
Bradley will guide the national team through May, but it is widely known that U.S. Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati prefers to hire a high profile international head coach. Should that happen, Bradley will remain as head coach of the Olympic team, retaining Nowak as his assistant.
Tom Soehn will be named head coach of D.C. United to replace Nowak. Soehn has been Nowak’s top assistant for the past three years with the Black-and-Red. He has also been a finalist for numerous head coaching positions over the last two years, including for both the Kansas City Wizards and FC Dallas this off-season.
