English Premiership club Tottenham Hotspurs reported to sign Brazilian and Real Zaragoza striker Ricardo Oliveira to replace their soccerstar Robbie Keane who moved to Liverpool recently. Tottenham manager Juande Ramos show his interest after impressive Oliveira 17 goals for Zaragoza in the Spanish league last season. However, Oliveira could not help Zaragoza escape relegation to the Spanish Second Division
Ricardo Oliveira previously AC Milan player but Zaragoza signed him permanently at the end of the season for about £8 million after loan the player last season.

French Ligue 1 champion Lyon reported to sign Barcelona striker Eidur Gudjohnsen. Lyon ready to move Gudjohnsen with a £7 million cost. Lyon plans Gudjohnsen as a replacement for their Brazilian striker Fred.
Eidur Gudjohnsen 29-year-old is the captain of the Iceland national team and is often referred to as the greatest Icelandic player who is currently still in the game.
English Premiership club West Ham United also reported linked with Eidur Gudjohnsen.

English soccerstar David Beckham celebrates his first goal for LA Galaxy on the games Los Angeles beat D.C. United 2-0 in the SuperLiga semi-finals august 17. “The free kick was the first I’ve taken for eight weeks, so it was quite pleasing,” Beckham said. “I felt I was going to score as soon as I had the ball in my hands.”
Beckham scored the goal in the 27th minute. Beckam also sent a first assist to Landon Donovan, who scored on a breakaway in the 47th minute for a 2-0 lead. LA Galaxy advanced to the Aug. 29 tournament final in Carson against Mexican club team Pachuca, who drew 2-2 with Houston, but won 4-3 on penalty kicks.
The winning team earns US$1 million, which the Galaxy could put toward paying Beckham’s US$6.5 million yearly salary. Beckham also earned his first yellow card after fouling United’s Jaime Moreno in the 18th minute.

Thaksin Sinawatra club Manchester City reported to add more player to the team, Anderlecht Midfielder Mark de Man currently on the way to join the citizen. de Man 24-year-old most often deployed as a defensive midfielder but has also been used at centre back or right full back. He has recently been a regular Anderlecht and Belgium National team.
