Chelsea and Ukrainian soccerstar Andriy Shevchenko show his interest to move to US Major League Soccer. “I’d like to play there, actually”, Shevchenko said “Soccer is growing in the US and I’d like to be a part of that. I played there last summer against the MLS All-Stars and I saw myself that it’s definitely improving.” Shevchenko revealed he would be interested in a move to Major League Soccer before hanging up his boots.
If Shevchenko decided to move to US MLS he will join other European soccerstar such as English soccerstar David Beckham who will move to US Major League club LA Galaxy.
Shevchenko struggling to find his best form this season on Premiership after transfer from AC Milan. Shevchenko believes he failed to deliver in front of goal because Jose Mourinho did not play him as an out-and-out striker. “I didn’t play in my position this year, I was playing further behind, away from goal, which is different from how I played at Milan and maybe that’s why Didier Drogba scored so many goals this year.” Shevchenko said.

Portugese defender Abel Xavier reported to join US Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. Xavier will make his team debut once the secondary MLS transfer period starts on June 15. “Soccer is my life and I’m excited to continue my career in LA,” Xavier said. “Soccer in the United States continues to grow and I’m proud to be a part of it. I’m coming to win.”
“This is a terrific signing for us and he will bring so much experience, leadership and ability to the team,” Galaxy coach Frank Yallop said. “People of his quality are not often available for us to sign, so we are really happy that he is going to join us.”

US Major League club LA Galaxy confirmed that the club has made an offer for french retirement soccerstar Zinedine Zidane to bring Zidane come out of his retirement and join his ex-Real Madrid teammate David Beckham in LA Galaxy.
LA Galaxy president Tim Leiweke said to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport “We have contacted his entourage about coming to play for us this year, He knows our door will always be open. His contract won’t be a problem.”
