Scottish Premier League club Glasgow Rangers reported to sign Liverpool and England soccerstar Robbie Fowler on free transfer. Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez confirmed on May 11th 2007 that Fowler would be leaving at the end of the 2006-07 season.
“Robbie doesn’t need three or four chances to score. If he gets one, he pops it away because he has a fantastic array of finishing. He can dink it, he’s good in the air and has a powerful left peg. He’s a clever finisher and it would be a big plus for Rangers if they signed him” said Rangers player Gary McAllister.
Fowler’s career began with Liverpool, with whom he made his debut in 1993. Fowler scored 120 premiership goals for Liverpool in an eight year period. He subsequently played for Leeds United and Manchester City F.C., before returning to Liverpool in January 2006.

Spanish Primera Liga club Real Madrid reported to sign Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas. Real president Ramon Calderon is planning to making a bid for the Spain international. The unstable situation in Arsenal make Fabregas weighing up his future at Emirates stadium.
Fabregas started his career as a trainee with FC Barcelona but was signed by Arsenal in July 2003. In 2007 Fabregas nominated for both PFA Players’ Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year, but both awards went to Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

English Premiership Club Newcastle United ready to sign Chelsea and Cameroon midfielder Geremi for free transfer on a bosman ruling transfer. Geremi contract in Chelsea end this season.
Geremi was brought to Chelsea by manager Claudio Ranieri in 2003 after Chelsea agreed a 6 million pound fee with Real Madrid. Geremi was fairly regular for Chelsea while Ranieri was in charge. But since Ranieri was succeeded by José Mourinho, Geremi has struggled to earn a place in the Chelsea first-team due to the exceptional strength in depth of Chelsea’s squad.

Spanish Primera Liga Champion Real Madrid reported to sign Feyenoord youngster Roysten Drenthe. Real Madrid sports Director Pedja Mijatovic in talks with Feyenoord to bring Drenthe to Bernabeau.
Roysten Drenthe is Feyenoord and Netherlands U21 midfielder, Drenthe mainly plays as a left back, but he is also suitable for the left winger or left forward positions. Drenthe is become a star in 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, which was held in the Netherlands. He is chosen by UEFA as the Player of the Tournament and picking up attention from a number of clubs.
Manysoccer fans believed that Mijatovic want to bring Drenthe to Bernabeau as a replacment for the legendary Brazilian left back, Roberto Carlos .
