David Beckham urged by US designer to leave his wife Victoria Beckham. Well, this is just for fun of course. A US designer Sheila Cameron has launched a campaign to persuade David Beckham to leave his wife Victoria in England while he plays for US Major League club LA Galaxy. T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan ‘Free Becks’ . The T-shirts also carry the message ‘Keep Posh’ in smaller font, in an apparent plea to her home country.

Adidas, The German sportswear giant, reported to replace their biggest rival Nike, The American sportswear giant, for Brazil National team jersey. Brazilian business magazine ‘Exame’ have suggested that Adidas to a hostile $40 million annually bid that will offer the Brazilian CBF three times the amount currently offered by Nike.

U.S. Soccer and Nike, a major American supplier of sports equipment, has released The New US Soccer Third Jersey in royal blue with white pin-stripes and also features royal blue shorts and socks. US Soccer plans to wear the impressive new uniform on Sunday match against Ecuador in Tampa, Fla., and on March 28 against Guatemala in Frisco, Texas.

Adidas, a giantsports apparel manufacturer, announced that their 2006 sales grew 52 percent, boosted by the soccer World Cup in Germany and the purchase of Reebok in the United States. Adidas sales last year were 10.08 billion euros, and earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose by a quarter to 881 million euros ($1.16 billion).
