Cristiano Ronaldo Mum : “Gemma Atkinson Is Not My Son Girlfriend”
Gemma Atkinson is the girlfriend of Manchester United soccerstar Cristiano Ronaldo, we heard it all the time on the news. But, after months that their relationship on the news, Dolores Aveiro Mum of Cristiano Ronaldo speaking on The Sun today that Gemma Atkinson is not the girlfriend of her son. “Cristiano doesn’t have a girlfriend. I put my hands in the fire as he did not go with the girl people say is his girlfriend. I don’t know her and don’t care if she’s beautiful.†Dolores said.
Dolores could be true as we never heard on the news that Cristiano talks directly with Gemma or we never seen their pictured together. But Gemma’s pals last night insisted the two were an item and were planning a summer holiday. “Ronaldo’s mother is probably just being protective. I’ve seen the texts they send and they’re definitely boyfriend and girlfriend. Gemma’s a down-to-earth lass and not interested in him as a publicity stunt.â€

All I can say is that Gemma and her friends are definitly confused. I don’t doubt that Cristiano and Gemma had a “fling” at some point or another, and Gemma simply got the wrong idea about Cristiano’s intentions with her. There are more credible scources than Gemma’s friends who have said that Cristiano denies a relationship with Gemma. Plus, in the interview that Cristiano did for Vogue magazine, he denied being in a relationship, and this interview was after the news came out that Cristiano and Gemma allegedly were an item. Other news have said that Cristiano had commented that he liked all of the Hollyoaks girls and did not know which one to choose.
I don’t know about you guys, but if Cristiano’s mother has said that she would put her hands in the fire–well, I don’t think that Gemma and Cristiano are together.
Gemma is just in denial, and well, its understandable. Who wouldn’t be? What Gemma needs to do is get over it, and simply be content witht he fact that she could now say she slept with him. There are lots of us who would be satisfied with this.
So, to answer thw question if someone is lying: yes, Gemma is. And if her friends are saying that they have seen texts from Cristiano himself, well, this is not sufficent evidence to prove that they are together. Texts on a cell phone can easily be fabricated. I won’t believe that Gemma is Cristino’s girlfriend until he confirms it himself.
