You may already know that Manchester United soccerstar Cristiano Ronaldo is on the high level of his career with £31 million contract from Manchester United on his pocket. But you may doesn’t know that Cristiano Ronaldo has a sadness story behind his success.

Published by Now magazine, Cristiano grows in the family with drink and drugs . Cristiano Ronaldo watched helplessly as his father drank himself to death and he also witnessed his brother Hugo’s struggle to get off drugs.

“Cristiano has seen what drink and drugs can do to people close to him,” says Dolores Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo mother. “What’s happened to our family explains why he doesn’t have any vices. He doesn’t smoke or drink. His only addiction is football.”

Cristiano Ronaldo now paid for the treatment of his brother Hugo, 32-year-old, at a drugs clinic in Lisbon, Portugal.
