David Beckham Scored First Goal For LA Galaxy

English soccerstar David Beckham celebrates his first goal for LA Galaxy on the games Los Angeles beat D.C. United 2-0 in the SuperLiga semi-finals august 17. “The free kick was the first I’ve taken for eight weeks, so it was quite pleasing,” Beckham said. “I felt I was going to score as soon as I had the ball in my hands.”
Beckham scored the goal in the 27th minute. Beckam also sent a first assist to Landon Donovan, who scored on a breakaway in the 47th minute for a 2-0 lead. LA Galaxy advanced to the Aug. 29 tournament final in Carson against Mexican club team Pachuca, who drew 2-2 with Houston, but won 4-3 on penalty kicks.
The winning team earns US$1 million, which the Galaxy could put toward paying Beckham’s US$6.5 million yearly salary. Beckham also earned his first yellow card after fouling United’s Jaime Moreno in the 18th minute.

Hello,
I stumbled across your site from blogtoplist and I have to say you’ve done a pretty good job with your blog. I have a couple of blogs myself and am currently trying to put together a blog directory with only the best stuff on the net. Since your site fits my criteria I would like to know if you would like to be listed in my directory. It’s still brand new so I don’t have many links yet but it is growing. It should help with your incoming links too.
Thanks and happy linking!
