Dong Fangzhou Received Permit to play for Manchester United

CHINESE ace Dong Fangzhou has finally received the green light to play for Manchester United. The striker has secured a work permit to end a three-year wait to make his debut in England. Dong, 21, signed from China side Dalian Shide for £3.5m in 2004. Since joining United he has been loaned to Belgian feeder club Royal Antwerp but will now head for Old Trafford.
Dong has impressed on United’s pre-season tours and boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: “The boy has a big chance.” He will be one of seven loan players to return to the Premiership leaders next month.
The others are Newcastle’s Giuseppe Rossi, Rangers duo Lee Martin and Phil Bardsley, NEC Nijmegen’s Chris Eagles and Jonny Evans and Danny Simpson, who have been playing with Dong in Belgium.
