Dong Fangzhuo To Make His Manchester United Debut

Today is the day, after loan to Antwerp Belgium and signed a new contract with the Reds Devil Manchester United until 2010, chinese striker Dong Fangzhuo is ready to make his debut when Manchester United face Middlesbrough in FA Cup quarter-final.

Man Utd has a problem on their frontline aftermissing strikers Luis Saha and Ole Gunnar Solskjiaer as well as Darren Fletcher and Mikael Silvestre. Henrik Larsson has headed back to Sweden and Paul Scholes is suspended. Refer to that matters Fangzhuo has been added by Man Utd manager Alex Fergusson to United’s squad.

Dong Fangzhou signed for United from Dalian Shide in January 2004 and has since spent two years on loan with Belgian side Royal Antwerp. At Antwerp, Dong scored an impressive 35 goals in 61 games. Now, having secured a work permit to play in England, he can begin playing competitive matches.
