Emile Mpenza To Join Manchester City
Belgium soccer star Emile Mpenza reported to join English Premiership club Manchester City from Qatar-based club Al Rayyan. “I am not finished and I will prove it in Manchester” Mpenza said.
“I will take this transfer as a revenge, with respect to all those who criticised my decision to play in Qatar,” Mpenza added.
Mpenza previous clubs include Standard Liège (twice), FC Schalke 04, R.E. Mouscron, K.V. Kortrijk, Hamburger SV and Al Rayyan. He is the brother of R.S.C. Anderlecht player Mbo Mpenza. Emile Mpenza plays with the Belgium national football team. He has been frequently injured when he would have been called up by the national team. He even quit the team for a time.
