Former Spanish National Team member Ivan Campo has made it clear that he is happy in Bolton and want to see out his contract with Bolton Wanderers. Ivan Campo previously linked to move to Spanish Club Athletic Bilbao.

Ivan Campo agent, Miguel Angel Cermeno, has explained: “Ivan is very happy at Bolton. He has no intention of leaving the club. “He is really happy with the team and wants to complete his contract. I have transmitted this information to the coach Sam Allardyce.”

Campo, who has four international caps for Spain, was born in San Sebastian in 1974 and began his career with Alaves, making his debut in the 1993-94 season.

He move to Valladolid in 1995-96, then spent 1996-97 at Valencia and 1997-98 with Mallorca.

In 1998 he joined Real Madrid, where he made 60 Primera Liga appearances in four seasons and was in the side that won the Champions League in 2000.

Allardyce signed him for Bolton on a Bosman free in 2002, and he has played more often and more regularly for the Trotters than for any of his previous clubs.
