Former Japan National Team forward Takayuki Suzuki is heading back to the J-League and join Yokohama Marinos from Red Star Belgrade.

Takayuki Suzuki, 30 year-old, has spent just over a year at Red Star Belgrade from Kashima Antlers but has made little impact at the club.

Marinos are plans Suzuki to replace Tatsuhiko Kubo who joined Yokohama FC last week and they feel that Suzuki, who scored eleven times in 55 appearances for the national team, could help them challenge for the 2007 J-League title after two disappointing seasons.
