Juventus To Sign Ajax Striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar
Italian club Juventus reported to sign Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, the striker of Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax Amsterdam for £12 million. Juventus admitted that they have struck personal terms with Huntelaar and have been agreed for a contract worth £2.3 million-a-season. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is a top target for Juve as they prepare for next season’s Sere A return.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is a Dutch international striker. He is seen as a rising star in Dutch football, having scored 33 goals in the 2005/06 Eredivisie campaign. Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool are also said to be very interested in the player. However Dutch legend soccerstar Johan Cruyff is urging Huntelaar to join Barca than Juventus.
Huntelaar also known as the first player to score a goal at Arsenal F.C.’s new Emirates Stadium in a testimonial match for Dennis Bergkamp on July 22nd, 2006 .
