Kashima Antlers signed Brazilian Players

J-league club Kashima Antlers have signed three Brazilian player, The 27-year-old Danilo Gabriel de Andrade, signed an 11-month contract starting from 2 february 2007. The two other player are defender Jose Fabio Alves Azevedo (Fabao) and striker Marcos Gomes De Araujo (Marquinhos) both of them has signed contract until January 1 next year.

Danilo has made 17 goals in his time with Sao Paulo and making 122 appearances for the squad. Fabao was chosen for the best 11 in the Brazilian league last season, while Marquinhos has scored 50 goals in 110 games for Verdy Tokyo, Yokohama Marinos, JEF United Chiba and Shimizu S-Pulse in the J-League.

I feel honoured to play for this team,” said Danilo. “It’s been my dream to play for Kashima Antlers. It´s a team capable of winning the title. Hopefully, I can help the team win the title,” said Marquinhos, also 30.
