Liverpool Ready To Sign Charlton Athletic Striker Darren Bent For £15 Million

English Premiership club Liverpool reported by the Mirror is ready to make a bid for Charlton Athletic Striker Darren Bent in cost £15 Million. Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez has £40 million in his pocket to search the players for next season and Darren Bent is on the list.
Darren Bent play for Charlton Athletic after transfer in 2005 for £3 million from Ipswich Town. Bent was the highest scoring Englishman in the Premiership in the 2005-2006 season, which made him 3rd highest scorer overall. His consistent performances that year earned him the Charlton Athletic Player of the Season award.
Bent made his debut for England National Team on March 1, 2006, starting against Uruguay at Anfield in a pre-World Cup friendly match (he wore the number 10 shirt). On 8 May 2006, Bent was omitted from England’s World Cup squad.
