What a great signing Gudjohnsen would be for Lyon, even if Fred was ageing, Gudjohnsen is proven at the top level both with Chelsea and Barcelona.
The price tag of £7 million seems pretty steep for a 29-year-old but if Lyon could settle a deal in the region of £5 with Barca it would be a great addition to the squad.
The Icelander brings ability to score with both feet and also his head and has a wonderful footballing brain.
I am a Chelsea fan and would honestly say that a return of Eidur to our squad would add to the team we have.
