Manchester United To Sign Middlesbrough Striker Mark Viduka

English Premirship club Manchester United reported their interest to sign Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka. Viduka would be a free player next month after refusing to commit his long-term future with The Boro despite a new two-year, £40,000-a- week offer.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson guarantee that Viduka can play for European championship next season if he decided to move to Old Trafford.
However Man Utd rival in Premiership Newcastle United also show the interest to sign Viduka. Newcastle new manager Sam Allardyce promising that Viduka would be an integral part of his Toon revolution.
Viduka considered retiring from international competition after the 2006 World Cup, citing increasing family commitments as the primary reason. However, in September 2006 he confirmed that he would continue playing for Australia and intended to compete in the 2007 Asian Cup.

United News says:
Wouldn’t welcome this signing. Think he’s a decent player but isn’t going to help us retain the Premiership or fight for the European Cup. I hope we splash the cash on Berbatov or Torres. I think Villa will be off to Chelski.

Forever Night says:
I think Mark Viduka would be a great asset to Manchester united. He holds the ball up so well in midfield to let key strikers to get into positions of attack.
It would be Sir Alex Ferguson loss not to sign him!
