Manchester United To Sign Sampdoria Striker Fabio Quagliarella

English Premiership club Manchester United reported to sign Sampdoria Striker Fabio Quagliarella. Sampdoria Sports Director Beppe Marotta has admitted an offer from Manchester United for the striker. “I can now confirm the offer from Manchester United, but it only represents one of several possibilities” Marotta said. Fabio Quagliarella currently co-owned between Sampdoria and Udinese. “We will have to do our accounts with Udinese, the joint owner of his contract, and consider the will of the player ahead of such important offers.” Marotta added.
Quagliarella started his career at Torino in 2004 and scored 7 goals in Serie B. But financial problems forced Torino stay in Serie B, and Quagliarella joined Udinese for a year, before signing for U.C. Sampdoria, for whom he has already scored 11 goals in the 2006-2007 season.
Fabio Quagliarella got his first call up to the Azzurri in march for a euro 2008 qualifier against Scotland, and made his debut as a substitute (substite Luca Toni in 87 min.).

Am a big fun of manchester united for the last 20 years. Sir Alex has proved to be the best manager in this game particularly with the naturing of young talents namely giggs, becks ron and roon. I would like to inform the chelsea scout “give nani one season under Sir Alex and you will swallow your words.” Otherwise bravo to the whole team and the entire staff including the Glazer family for making Man U fans proud. Hope Mr. Glazer is feeling much better now.

I dont know much about this fabio but his age is worrisome. if his work rate is close to that of Smith and Saha why have him after losing Ruud Van Niestroy? Man U needs a striker to score more goals than Christiano Ronaldo a winger. So a moderate striker is not needed unless he is very cheap and/or young enough to improve. Not someone at 27 and can not manage to score 30 goals.

Man U will regret losing Alan Smith’s hardworking attitude if they lose him for a low profile or moderate striker. Man U has Dong(Asian)although inexperienced, Rossi(italian)although inexperienced,Skjosear(Nowaigian) although old, Saha(Franch) although injured and others from the reserve side like we saw in the last few weeks of the season. Why have a moderate striker and not high prospects and/or hot strikers to meet the expectations of stakeholders and for the good of entertaining football which people will spend their money on? Should a club of Man U’s status continue experiementing on strikers after what Ruud Van Niestroy set as a target? I hope fabio is a real prospect and aged 23 as seen on Manutd.com but if he’s 27 as seen on other websites then he may not be the best for ManU.

Fabio Quagliarella is one of the best young strikers ive seen in a while, we will be lucky to get him for £10 million considering other top clubs have yet to make any signings. just imagine rooney and quaglarella upfront, with anderson just behind them, ronaldo and nani on the wings and hargreaves dominating the midfield. carrick, scholes, giggs and saha wont get a start!!, WE R GOING TO BE UNSTOPABLE!!!
I CANNOT WAIT !
(our top players and italian fitness coach may just push him towards old trafford BUZIN!)
