Japanese striker Naohiro Takahara continue his excellent action for Germany Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. Takahara again on the mark for Eintracht Frankfurt in Friday’s 2-2 draw with Nurnberg.

“Naturally I look in the morning at the newspapers,” he wrote on his website, takahara.de. “There are very positive headlines for me. This is apart from the confidence from my colleagues and the coach and it’s proof for me that I am playing in the right way, in order to score and create goals, which was why I came to Eintracht Frankfurt.

“I want to be on the pitch as an influential player, who can shape his team crucially and lead them forward.”

Nakahara previously played for Júbilo Iwata in Japan, Boca Juniors in Argentina and Hamburger SV in Germany.
