David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Phil Neville, John Terry and Paulo Ferreira made television appeal to help find missing British three-year old little girl Madeleine McCann who was taken from the Praia da Luz resort in the Algarve in southern Portugal. Madeleine disappeared from the McCann’s holiday apartment while her parents were at dinner. Investigators believe she was kidnapped.

Dressed in a white shirt and wearing s stern expression, Beckham held up a photograph of the child as he made his televised plea. Beckham said: “Last Thursday evening a little girl called Maddy was taken from the family hotel room in the Algarve in southern Portugal. As I’m sure you understand, we need to do everything possible to help the police with their enquiries in finding her. If you have seen this little girl please could you go to your local authorities or police and give any information that you have, any genuine information that you have. Please, please help us thank you.”

Madeleine parents Gerry and Kate McCann said: They would “leave no stone unturned” in the search for their daughter. “We have been moved by the enormous willingness of people to do all they can to help find Madeleine”.

Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Chelsea footballers John Terry and Paulo Ferreira have also made appeals for Madeleine’s safe return. England captain Terry said: “We are all devastated to hear that Maddie was abducted. Our thoughts and feelings go to her parents and family.”

Madeleine McCann would be fourth-year old on Saturday (May 12, 2007). So if you have seen little girl as on above picture you may go to your local authorities or police and give any information that you have to help.

Why, why, why would anyone leave a 4 yr old and two 2 yr old alone in a hotel room? I don’t care if I wanted to just go across the hall to eat, I would NEVER leave my young children alone. Hasn’t anyone asked the parents what they were thinking? That is straight up child endangerment!

The really crazy thing is that both parents are Doctors !? !
Remind me to check the common sense of the next Dr I take my daughter to! You can hire a babysitter in a resort if you are THAT desperate to escape your own children. Please pray for this little girl to be safe even now.
