Thaksin Shinawatra Set For Manchester City, Sven Goran Eriksson The New City Manager

Ex Thailand Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra reported set to take control of English Premiership club Manchester City after lodged a formal £81.6million bid for the club. Manchester City’s board have recommended to all of the shareholders to accepted the offer. “I am delighted that the board of Manchester City has recommended my bid for the club, I am in no doubt of the responsibility associated with leading Manchester City and pledge to the fans, players and staff my utmost commitment to the future success of this great club,” Shinawatra said to the press.
Shinawatra bid could still be vetoed by the Premier League if they decide Shinawatra does not pass the Right and Proper Persons Test for Premier League.
Thaksin Shinawatra also announced that former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson would be the new City’s manager if he choose as the new City’s owner. However City fans are unhappy with the appointed of Sven Goran Eriksson. “Although Eriksson was a good club manager 10 years ago, he’s damaged goods after what he did with England,” said Dave Wallace, editor of the King of the Kippax fanzine.
