Zinedine Zidane To Fight HIV In Chiang Mai Thailand

Former France and Real Madrid soccerstar Zinedine Zidane is back to soccer field. Zidane will play for the first time since he hung up his boots after the 2006 World Cup for charity match for helping the HIV virus fighting in Chiang Mai Municipal Stadium Thailand as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.
Zidane will lead the Predator team - which includes several star Thai players such as veteran striker Kiartisak Senamuang - against the F-50 side consisting of well-known players from Malaysia, Singapore and Thai legend Piyapong Piewon.
During his stay in Thailand, Zizou will lead a course for 40 young footballers, selected from all the clubs in the country. The French player will give the clubs 1,000 balls as a present.
Zidane mania has gripped the northern province since the former Real Madrid star arrived on Wednesday. Upon landing in Chiang Mai, Zidane caused mini chaos, with large groups of fans, both Thai and foreigners, scrambling to get closer to the star to take a picture and collect an autograph from their favourite player.
